Over night we had some new arrivals in the primary science lab.  This morning the Kindergartners and second graders were first to meet the new chicks and ducks.

On a separate note, we will be serving chicken fingers for lunch today in the cafeteria. (No, seriously)

From time to time we set up a live video feed from the primary science lab to allow students to monitor an experiment's progress from home.  Over the weekend and into the beginning of next week, we should hopefully (fingers crossed) have some baby chicks and baby ducklings hatching, and you can watch live at the website below. Chicks take 21 days to incubate and ducks, 28.  They are all due to hatch somewhere between Sunday May 11th (Evening) and Tuesday May 13th (Morning).  It is likely the most action will take place all day Monday (12th) but you never know.
